(Rm 204, 2nd floor )
This class began as a group for married couples and has evolved into an exciting, mixed group of single & married people within a wide range of ages who wish to share in fellowship and grow in their faith. The class promotes an open forum discussion style that offers diversity and never a dull moment!
(1st floor, in the Parlor)
This class is composed of people seeking God’s will through study, prayer, and sharing of the good works in their lives. Study material is comprised of contemporary literature including resources from Willow Creek, Beth Moore, and video series with lots of group discussion!
(Rm 305, 3rd Floor)
This class uses the “Adult Bible Studies” Series and is taught by a committed class member. The class encourages indepth discussion of spiritual issues as well as Christian service. The class sponsors the church-wide “5th Sunday Breakfast” and is comprised of those ranging from middle age to early retirement.
(Chapel, 3rd Floor)
A group of loving & caring adults, both married and single, join together to share their faith through worship and fellowship. The class is led by a variety of teachers who offer well developed, spiritually uplifting and instructional Bible study lessons from “Adult Bible Studies”.
(Room 205, 2nd Floor)
This group is about developing a deeper understanding of their beliefs, the Bible, and who they are as Methodist Christians. You could call it a "beginners" study of sorts. The group includes adults (singles and couples) in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, who like to study, pray and socialize together. Generally they follow study tracks that focus on a specific book of the Bible, person, or topic over a 6-10 week period, with each discussion led by a volunteer member(s) of the group. They can be lively, fun, sometimes loud, occasionally serve breakfast, and try to spend time together socially outside of church. Come as you are; new to the church, new to Bible study, already an expert looking for a new perspective, or just interested in fellowship. All are welcome!
The Riverside Park United Methodist Men (UMM) is a group of men whose mission is to support the spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church and to help them to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others.
When We Meet: 10am on the 4th Sunday of the month in Room 313
The UMM has several annual events that support the ministries and people of Riverside Park UMC and its community:
In 2015, 26 church members showed up early on a Saturday morning and collected many bags of trash around the shops and businesses in the Five Points district.
Riverside Park UMC has three active United Methodist Women circles. They are Circle of Joy and Peace, Circle of Grace, Circle of Hope and Circle of Service.
